Minimum Requirements to work Offshore, for Wells and Production in the Gulf of Mexico.
- HUET Training (see HUET Training link on home page for approved training providers)
- Contractor Orientation (Onsite and / or Online)
- Safegulf or equivalent regulatory training
- Annual Marine Trash and Debris Training (see BSEE video and send completed sign-in sheet to RTCC to document)
- TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card)
- SEMS compliance (to include proof of competency & Contractor Interface Document)
- Follow Shell’s SSE (Short Service Employee) Policy if applicable (information available on the home page)
- Medical Fitness to Work / Fit For Duty
- Random drug / alcohol screening
- Proper PPE to include:
- Flame Retardant Clothing (FRC)
- Steel-Toed Shoes
- Eye Protection
- Hearing Protection
- Hard Hat
- Gloves Matrix
- Any Additional Task Specific PPE
- Contractor shall have an active and up to date subscription to ISNetworld unless otherwise exempted in writing by the appropriate Company CSM representative
- Shell approved Rigger Training
- USCG Approved Letter of Determination for Non-U.S. Citizens
- T-2 or Well Control Certifications (as required in 30 CFR 250 Subpart O and Shell’s Subpart O Plan)
Contracted offshore travelers will be scanned in Helipass against the ISN TQ database before being added to the manifest for travel. We expect our contractors to keep current their ISN TQ profile ahead of their travel. The final check for ISN TQ compliance is at the heliport through Helipass kiosks.
